Plaza de Armas is the main plaza in Cusco. During the Inca era it was known as the “Square of the Warrior”. It is home to not only the Cathedral but also Iglesia de la Compañía (the Church of the Society of Jesus).
The morning light is gorgeous on the churches. However if you have some interesting clouds then any time of the day can be great.
